Camp Philosophy

Bear Paw Hockey Camp is designed to give boys and girls the opportunity to develop and refine their hockey skills. The camp focuses on the fun of hockey fundamentals. The camp will be challenging, so that all participants from Beginners to Elite will skate outside their comfort zone, yet still enjoy the experience. An emphasis on skating, passing, stick handling and shooting will be incorporated each day of the camp. Along with individual skills, team concepts and teamwork will be modeled and reinforced throughout the week. Low student to instructor ratio allows many hours of individual learning time. The Camp objective is to provide a safe and fun atmosphere to enhance student learning. Coach Penn believes hockey is a wonderful sport that can be enjoyed for a lifetime.
